📱 How to Install & Use

Novila is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can use it in your browser, or install it on your device for a native‑like experience.

📲 On iPhone / iPad

1. Open the index.html file in Safari.
2. Tap the Share icon (square with arrow).
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add – it appears like a native app.

📱 On Android

1. Open the index.html file in Chrome.
2. Tap the three‑dot menu (⋮) in the top‑right.
3. Tap Install app (or Add to Home Screen).
4. Follow the prompts – it installs as a standalone app.

💻 On Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

1. Open the index.html file in your browser.
2. Click the Install icon in the address bar (🔽 or ⊕).
3. Or go to Menu → Install Novila.
4. It will open in its own window without browser chrome.

🌐 Any Browser (Quick Use)

Just double‑click index.html – it works instantly.
Bookmark it for easy access. No installation needed.

📖 Quick User Guide

Here’s everything you need to know to get the most out of Novila.

🏠 Home Dashboard See your current cycle day, phase, and fertility level. The ring visualises your progress through the cycle. Tap Log Today to record your daily data.

📅 Calendar View your cycle phases on any date. Tap a day to see or add a log entry. The dot colour tells you which phase you were in.

✍️ Log Your Day Record flow intensity, select symptoms (cramps, headaches, etc.), pick your mood, and add notes. All data stays on your device.

📊 Insights Track your cycle history, see symptom patterns, and view your average cycle length. The more you log, the smarter your insights become.

⚙️ Settings Update your last period start date, cycle length, and period duration. All changes update predictions instantly.

💾 Backup & Export Export your logs as CSV (Excel / Sheets) or save a full JSON backup. Restore from backup if you switch devices – your data never touches our servers.

🔐 Privacy at the Core

Novila stores everything locally in your browser’s storage. No accounts, no internet connection required, no tracking scripts, no analytics. Your data belongs only to you.

🔄 Sync Across Devices?

Because we don’t use any cloud servers, Novila does not sync automatically. If you want your logs on another device, use the Backup / Restore feature in Settings to transfer your data manually.
